OPEN LIBRAY
It is an Uttarbuniyadi high school. It runs on gandhian philosophy. 1200 students have been studying here. They are staying here in hostel.
They do all their work themselves. They also work in fields. They do many other co-curricular activities. They learn self discipline, management, cleanliness, responsibility and much more. The schools result comes 80 to100%. It stands first or second in Taluka.
In our school we run many different effective activities. Personally I am interested in doing something different and creative. I have too much interest in developing morality and values in student’s life. I firmly believe that only teachers can build up morally and sensibly perfect world. We see many people have got good education. They are intelligent. They are on best posts or business and politics but they are not morally best so the problem accurse. We taught them how to earn but we didn’t teach them how to be satisfied. There must be one finish line in every body’s life. I think this is the main lack of the society and for the person too. I am trying to create a healthy atmosphere in a very small sphere but it is very important. I try to make them learn true values of life them selves. I just push them ahead.
I have done an activity named WISHWAS BANK. We keep student's money and give them when they need it. I put a paper box. In the box I put some money and a paper and a pen. Students come, take the money and write in the paper him self that how much money has been taken by him. It is an open ATM. Not debit card needed and faith is the password. They have done it very well without committing any mistake. They transected Rs.15000 with enthusiasm. I can see the satisfaction and an unknown light on their faces because they realize that somebody have faith in him. Really I like that lights, it gives me the reason for being a teacher.
I have started open library at jivan shala. It has no locks. Students come there see the variety of books, they choose the book, they sit and read there. Really they look lovely while they are reading. They are not restricted for any thing. They do not steal books, self discipline has been developed. Self-confidence has been increased. They have opened the window of the world by reading books. Through the books they will fly in the world of emotion and imagination.
We began with contribution of students. They gave contribution of Rs 1 to 100 willingly.3000 Rs was gathered. Our post student, Digant H. Devmurari gave Rs.5000. Thus our library has been got very good start.
We need some help from interested friends for a small shade, cupboards and books. New ideas are also invited.
